would it be possible to put a blowoff valve on an intake, so when the pressure built up it would sound like you had turbo?

just thought it would be a cheap way to make my car sound better

do you even know what a BOV does
I don't think so...
when the pressure from the turbo builds up it lets the pressure out right?
you'll need a fake intercooler to go along with that fake bov ricer boy, this ranks right up there with having a roll call of shit you don't have, quit faking and do something to your car that actualy improves it
wow, i really really REALLY hate ricers........i think you should first find out what a BOV does, before you just go spouting off terms.....
i bet you think you detonate when the air temp gets below freezing too..
That's a pretty lame question.... Are you 10 years old or something.
Hey guy's i'm going all motor cuz it looks and sounds cool what cha think???
Bwahahahha hhaahaahahahaah!!!!! BOV hahhaa Intake haaahaha!! Oh that was good!

Check out my rice equation:

3(rice)/race=x

rice=%rice
race=%race

If x>1 then the car is rice.
:) a bov releases boost pressure beween shifts for faster turbo spool up :) you doesnt have a turbo so.......... wasted of money :) if you like the sound you can always duplicate it with your mouth :) just go ppphhhssssssss pssssssssss pssssssssss......every time you shift :) careful not to spit all over your car though :)

hehehehe GETEM girl!
Actually, a bov releases the left over pressure after the throttle body closes between shifts, which makes it so you don't have any compressor surge(which shortens the life of your turbo).

Compressor surge is what happens when the left over boost has nowhere to go but back into the compressor side of the turbo, causing the turbine wheel/fins, whatever you want to call it, to turn the opposite direction from the direction it travels to make positive pressure (which inturn can do what lablue said)
you need BOOST for a blow off valve to work!
you can get an electric blow off valve lol :rolleyes:
damn you guys are some hardcore racers... i wish i could be as cool as you
hey man, electronic blow off valve = +20 hp!!!

Basicly you are saying that you want to add a blow off valve to sound cool, but if you are at a light with me you are going to need more than just sounding cool to beat me. Be real, do something that will add something we all are not going to laugh at!
