V8's arent enough, try V12's -> BMW's 7series

If eight cylinders aren't enough, then check out the new V-12 BMW 760Li. With the help of BMW tuner "M"otorsport, this fall the 760Li will join the 745i, which goes on sale later this month, and the long wheelbase 745Li, which arrives in March. The 760Li is the first BMW to feature direct gasoline injection to supplement VALVETRONIC technology. The all-new 6.0-liter 60-degree aluminum V-12 develops more than 408 hp and approximately 442 lb-ft of torque (European ratings). Like the new V-8, this new 12-cylinder features not only BMW's innovative VALVETRONIC, but also four-valve technology and fully variable bi-VANOS camshaft control. Inside, iDrive, a bold new concept for interaction between driver and automobile, controls 700 functions, including navigation, telephone, and climate control. Passive safety innovation has been a 7 Series hallmark, and the fourth-generation flagship continues to carry the torch. BMW's Head Protection System (HPS) II works with the optional rear side airbags to provide inflatable head protection for rear-seat passengers as well as front. Active Head Restraints offer enhanced protection in rear impacts. In addition, the new 7 will feature Active Knee Protection with unique airbag protection for the knees of front-seat passengers. Coordinating all of the passive safety systems is the Intelligent Safety and Information System (ISIS), which uses a variety of sensors to tailor the restraint systems' response to a more precise reading of each impact

Not sure if it's true, but I heard the new 740s has a mini steering wheel by the shifter so you don't have to put your hands on the wheel :confused:
not the 7series my friend, that's on the Z9, crazy f'n feature.... here this is from edmunds car site

read this, some cool shit

"The Z9 employs a central command system called "iDrive" which gathers every essential instrument and switch into a central control easily accessed and adjusted by the driver with the least amount of distraction. The engineers behind the project say the "i" stands for "integrative" and "intuitive."

The system is operated via a toggle lever mounted on the center floor console where you'd usually find a gear shifter. The toggle controls heating and air conditioning, audio, telephone, trip computer and navigation systems, displaying all on a dash-mounted screen. So, where's the gear lever? The gears are shifted using controls mounted on the steering wheel. When a Z9 engineer was questioned about this, he became very defensive, curtly remarking that this was no big deal and was, in fact, "exactly like in Formula One race cars." His reaction suggests the Z9 concept has created controversy for its dramatic departure from conventional driving dynamics. "
