i just installed some cross drilled and slotted rotors with ss lines and hawk racing compound pads at all four corners. it's been a couple weeks and the brakes still make a grinding noise when i press the brake pedal lightly. if i press it firmly, the noise softens are is gone completely. i know that the pads are semi-metalic and that may be the reason, but i want to be sure. any thoughts?
