a decent cheap intercooler is one out of the eclipses.....the colder the air the better and much safer too.

Good turbo manifold (REVHARD, DRAG for cheaper) $400
T3T4 from turbochargers.com $700
Custom Downpipe with cat bypass pipe $250
K&N cone filter $50
Turbonetics Deltagate $200
Junkyard Intercooler $50
IC piping $100
1990-94 DSM BOV $100
Manual Boost Controller $100
Zdyne ECU $1000
Assorted Gaskets $50
Oil, Vacuum, and Coolant lines $50

That puts you a little over your 3k budget but there's lots of ways to save cash here. Get a used DRAG manifold and save $200, or get a ysed T3 turbo for like $100. If you're gonna go custom you've gotta check out www.homemadeturbo.com or the h o n d a - t e c h . com forced induction forum. Good luck, and do alot of research!

Tial is bout 50-100 bucks more dependin on where you buy and yes it is better than the standard deltagate that is used in the revhard or drag turbo kits........the rod inside the wastegate is better, along with the release hole. im comparing the turbonetics deltagate to a tial 35mm wastegate.

RevHard Turbo Manifold GOOD

T3/T4 Turbo GOOD, but for just 6 psi a junkyard turbo will do it for $500 cheaper

Tial Wastegate GOOD, better than the Deltagate but more $$$

K&N Cone Filter GOOD, don't pay extra for some HKS filter or something

HKS SS BOV GOOD, but you can save $200 by going with a
Eclipse BOV, which sounds pretty cool too

Inline Pro HeadGasket WHY? Unless your current HG is going already

Zdyne Gold SECU GOOD, maybe overkill for just 6 psi

??? Intercooler (dont know what to get...) Get anything you can find. Check old Ford Probes, Chrysler New Yorkers and Lebarons, DSMS, Volvos, and Saabs.

Zdyne 450cc injectors (come w/ Zdyne BoostTight seal set) Save some cash by going with DSM 450 cc injectors from a junkyard. I dont think you'll need 450s with 6 psi anyway, stock will pobably be fine.

Holley 255LPH Fuel Pump GOOD, but again, I don't think you'll need it at this level of boost

AEM FuelRail w/ FPR SEE ABOVE

MSD 6AL
MSD Blaster 3 Coil
MSD Pro Cap I dont think you'll need all this "increased ignition power" for this boost level

Basically, you asking for way too much for that budget, especially with only six pounds of boost. Definently check out homemadeturbo.com, and check out Abaz's setups. He ran 14 psi with the stock feul pump and mitsu injectors, junkyard turbo, junkyard intercooler and piping, and did it for hella cheap.

my question is how fast you want to be and how much hp to the wheels do you plan to make?

the greddy kit will be perfectly fine for that amount of hp.....itll save you the trouble from piecing together a kit. but its up to you.

-revhard turbo manifold is good
-t3/t4.......yer jes better off getting a large t3 turbo since your goal is about 250 whp.....i recommend a turbonetics t3super60
-tial 35mm wastegate is a great choice
-whatever bov you want...theres many out there.....if you jes want sound, save money and get a 1g eclipse bov. it wil give you a good pssttt sound.
-get a regular cone filter...i can get one for 30 bucks.
- a head gasket isnt need for 6lbs but it will be very good later once you increase the boost
-zdyne gold ecu w/450cc injectors is perfect when you go over 8lbs.....im saving for one rite now, otherwise if you do get it then buy a vortech 12:1fmu till you buy the zdyne
-also if you dont buy the zdyne ecu youll need check valves to bleed the boost away from your map sensor...you can buy the at petmart or order a billet one from overboost.com
-intercooler...theres so many to go with: eclipse side mount intercooler is good for up 240-250 to the wheels, the 1g probe/mx6 front mount intercooler are a pretty good size...almost twice the size of the ecilpse, a common ic for setups on a budget is a starion/conquest front mount intercooler.....its pretty big and handles up to 400 hp to the wheels.
-custom ic piping and w/ flange for bov
-fuel pump would be recommended
-you wont need a fpr
-both gaskets for the turbo manifold
-one vacuum line for the wastegate, one for the blow off valve, one for the fmu.....some vacuum tees to use in the intake manifold
-2 oil lines with fittings, tap on oil pan for the oil return line
-ignition would be recommend but isnt need for 6 lbs...which ever you prefer..i have a msd 6a with blaster 2 coil
-spark plugs one range colder
-use synthetic oil and chnage it every 2000-3000 miles

just like nocarloser previously said....some of the stuff isnt needed for 6lbs of boost, but i would recommend them. jes keep in mind that having a turbo is high maintenance and everything needs to be kept up with. personally since you are looking at btw 200-250 hp, i would jes opt for the 92-95 civic greddy turbo kit.
