After I cracked my radiator, I had it replaced with a C&R Racing Radiator. Afterwards (I may have had this problem before the radiator replacement, but never noticed it), I noticed that my upper radiator hose was buldging. I had them replaced with OEM hoses (both of them).

Anyway, it's been sometime now, and it is still budging. I tested to see if it was from hard driving, so this morning, I started it up, and drove to my gf's house (less then 5 miles). I never rev-ed the car past 3-4 thousand RPMs, but due to traffic, it may have taken about 10 minutes.

It still buldges. If the diameter of the upper hose is 1.5 inches, the buldging hose is nearing 3 inches. It is buldging where the hose connects to the engine. My car never goes even half way on temperature meter.

anyone have any idea why this may be from?

sounds interesting.... I'll have to look at my helms and see if I should swap it out and see....

and for wU-racer... "buldge" is like when you get hard, your penis gets bigger.... hence the "buldge in your pants."

I had my mechanic do it - a guy that does everything on my car. Think it's possible that it slipped his mind?

If it was bled... the coolant went low so I put some more in, also I opened the cap of the radiator...

does it need to be bled again?

these are brand new. they were installed after I had my radiator installed because the old ones were bulging. Now the new ones are doing the same thing the old ones did.

faulty hose? I should get a new one?

the bleeder is on the engine? I was under the impression that the bleeder valve (or whatever you want to call it) is on the radiator itself.

what am I trying to bleed here? the coolant in the engine or the radiator?

now I'm confused.

Hey I got off my lazy ass and looked in my helms. I bled the system, I really don't know if that fixed the problem since the inner lining on my upper hose was already damaged, it still bulges. I think I'm gonna opt for some steel braided hoses.
