Today i was backing out of my parking space at school and some accord slammed on his breaks, skid for about 40-50 feet and hit my rear bumper, its really not that bad but i have a one and a half inch crack in my bumper, a quarter sized dent, and its pushed up in one part. Apparently its both our fault since i couldn't see anyone coming that way since there were cars in the way, and his fault since he was going more than 10mph. I called up acura and asked how much a new bumper costs and they said 350 dollars painted, i dont think thats with installation so im wondering if its really easy to put a bumper on? i've never done it and i heard they're just some clips and screws that i have to remove and it pops off. Do you think its worth getting a new bumper or trying to fix the old one. frankly i want a new bumper because there is a scratch on it from when someone tried to break into my car with a crowbar.. i dont have the best luck. anyways if someone can tell me if its really difficult or not to install a new bumper i'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Too easy

A bumper is a very simple thing to change. Just take your time and be careful not to bend the new one or hit it on anything while installing it. Fixin the old one could result in it cracking again if bondo is used or it just may not be up to your standards. Well, good luck!
