Bad News :

Sometime late this year or 2004 Cali will be Advanced(smog2) all around the state.

Advance smogs test for the emissions of the gas NOx and to check this gas properly you must test on dyno.

Yes they do that already. but not all cities.

Not yet. in Vallejo CA they still have the 4 gas test. also Fairfield CA, Oakland CA.

But in Vacavile CA, they due the 5 gas test. I believe Sacramento does too.

here is what they test for in sacramento

HC
NOx
Co2

they test a couple other things as well but those things are the ones that matter

Co any O² are the other two they test in Sacramento.

Sacramento is an enhanced area smog.

Would a referee fail me for having an OBD 2 twc on and OBD 1 car? I got the second O² bung plug wit an out broken O² sensor.
