Just put my new wheels onto my Honda Civic Coupe 1.6 lsi 1997.

All the wheels went on perfectly. Drove around the corner and noticed a rubbing noise. Pulled over and noticed that my brake calipers where rubbing against the inside of the alloy wheel.

My existing wheels are 17 inch and replaced them also with 17 inch. And even the same tyre size 205/40/17.

Just bought some 5mm spacer.

Fitted them on.. and the wheels do clear the brake calipers... Which is great.

But the problem is that the spacer itself, are touching against the wall of the brake calipers...

Are there any smaller spacers?

you just bought the wrong offset rim.....which idk what your gonna do since they are scratched like that,

shave the edge of the spacer down if you can.

Looks like some washers on the lugs before the wheel goes on would give just enough clearance. That's african engineering though.
