OK HERES MY PROBLEM I DRIVE AN 94 INEGRA AND MI COUSIN HAD A BEETLE WITH AN K&N FILTER HE SOLD ME THE FILTER AND BECAUSE THE FILTER IS SMALLER THAN THE INTRA FILTER THE ONLY PLACE I COULD PUT IT ITS DIRECTLY OVER DE THROTLE BODY IT SOUND KOOL BUT I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD PUT THE NORMAL FILTER ON OR THE K&N OVER THE THROTLE BODY?
PLEASE HELP :confused:

thanks for the info but that mid rage power it will lose will it gain it some where else?

ok i put it where it should go but i dont know f im going carzy but i feel it losed low end and mid range torque i dont know it may be just my imagination

BUTT DYNO

The butt will get you everytime. But that is all true. You think that it is going to be faster, then it will feel that way. You are worried that you lost power, it will feel like it lost power. The mind is a tricky thing my friend.

intake tube length and diameter play a huge role in shaping your dyno power curve.

So what did you do to make more midrange with no tube? compare no tube to a straw?

As I said, no tube results in a narrower higher or peaky powerband which makes the car virtually undriveable around town since you have no low to midrange power...imagine losing more torque from 2000-5000 rpm than you have now but then get a surge only from 6500-7000 rpm ..that's worst than turbo lag!

that reminds me of some guy i met a while back who worked up a hyundai tiberon. he bought one of those ractive intakes and it broke off and apparently fell through to the road, i don't klnow how that happened. just going by what he told me. so now he pops open the hood and i see no intake. all saw was a pair of panty hose..doubled up maybe, covering the throttle body. one look at that and i almost busted my head laughing when hitting the floor.

just thought i'd share my experience with you guys. later

That is his fault for putting it on incorrectly... that intake is not plastic, and that engin couldn't have rocked enough to break the intake... And pantie hose? hum.. that would just melt and get sucked into his engin.. whatever that was.. no one should ever do that...

I guess this thing makes power comparison a whole different story huh? What is the fastest integra you have seen... SC/Turbo/ or N/A? How fast is the limit. or rather how quick 0-60, 0-100. Is it possible to make an integra a mid 3 sec car for 0-60?

When i first got my car i just took off the air box and put a weapon-r filter on the end of the rubber intake hose and later i made a cold air extension and I didn't notice any difference between that and my AEM just a louder deeper sound.

Tuan is that indeivdual TB set up in you car? That looks super bad ass!!!! for real. Also you seem to be the super expert mabey you can help my with my tranny post. Thanx.

P.S. is that a fuel PSI guage on the end of the fuel rail?
