Can I weld ecxhaust piping with an arc welder? or is it an tig welder that I need to weld alumizined steel/exhaust/intercooler piping?

looks like you are going to be ARC welding that

TIG welding is a little easier than stick welding, especially small things like tubing.

well, its not a matter of easier, its a matter of me having an arc welder, and If I can weld that material with the arc welder, it will save me and my friends a lot of moneys..heh

Correct, and its the hardest to do!!!

You would most likey want to use a stick welder for your exhaust.

You can use an ARC (which IMO is easier) but you need the gas for that. When you use the coated wire, you get a bad weld.
