I've never had this problem before but does anyone know why my car smells like gas when i drive it.. Im afraid to light a match. because the smell might blow me up.. does anyone kno why appreciate it.

all I can tell you is check under the rear seat in the fuel pump access panel to see if maybe you have a line that's cracked or did anyone who woulda had fuel on them get in your car lately ? that smell is really hard to get rid of.

yeah, with gas smell a little goes a LONG way...

could be a bad fuel line or leaky o-ring around the injectors... how strong is the smell and how often do you smell it?

is ur car gutted? if so that could be it...when we gutted my hatch and my buddys, the smell of gas tends to come out a little, im guessin the seats insulate that...
