How do you change the air filter on a 2003 Honda Element? need help..tnx..

If you notice the big black plastic box under the hood, that is the air filter. You must remove the screws, pull the cover off and take out the filter.

there are 6 screws holding it on and u have to unclip the 2 throttle lines and unplug the large vacuum line. make sure to plug the large vacuum line back in when replacing the cover. ps i also recommend a k&n air filter or some other high flow filter. i gained 1-2 mpg w/my k&n

Locate the air cleaner box..It is on Driver's side engine compartment..Remove screws from air cleaner box..You will find this screws only in 2003-06 Honda Elements..Pull the air cleaner box cover where you can see sir filter..Lift it out and just insert the new one..
