I've been wanting to do this ever since I got my car. The problem is that the amber film is inside the cluster. The lights they use to light up the cluster are just regular bulbs. If you shine a flashlight through the cluster, you'll still see the amber. One guy said his friend actually was able to get rid of the amber, but he said he wouldn't disclose how he did it. I'm thinking you'll have to totally disassemble the cluster in order to do it. I'm pretty sure you'll have to remove the needles in order to do this. I'm gonna attempt to do it, but I wanna find some gauges I can practice on first. And I'm still trying to find somewhere that I can get a needle removal tool from.
