Check engine light

1125 Views 7 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  40_Below
I just got a b16a2 swap and I have the check engine light on. The car runs really good yet the light is on. I was told by my mechanic that it is due to a sensor that is out, since there is no input on my stock intake manifold. Does anyone know if this is true and how can I solve it? Also there are a whole buncho of new cables and connections on my engine that weren't there before, is this normal?

use the link I posted to check the CEL codes...post up and tell me what code it's throwing and I'll tell you what's wrong with it.
Unplug your red battery cable for about 15 minutes.

If that doesn't work, go back to the mechanic or whoever put it in... If you got the engine, you should have gotten the ECU that came with it, I beleive.
