That IS REALLY funny, and True.

No hating from them, just real life experience from their point of view.

I can't tell how many times I had the same problems when I had my PY, and I am an import enthusiast! I hate ricer a$$holes.

Good for them, Hope some of those Stunnaz see this and get a clue.

look at them there squirrels runnin' round billy bob

LOL

the unfortunate thing is...they are correct!

unfortunately rice is the stereotype for imports.

a few people who don't know what they are doing (but who pretend they do) and don't know what reality is, seem to have a bigger bark than their bite.

you see it here all the time....

I want 300 hp all motor buzz bomb that revs to 11k rpm so I can have a 10 sec daily driver..... (yeah that's reality)

my LS/GSR/Civic with i/h/e vs the world posts.....

Sad but true most of it. I mean my friends showed that to me... i think theirs was in some chevy mag. Well They all had a big laugh and I did too, its some funny stuff.. then again we could also do our own. My friend BTW has a 92 camaro v6--- he thinks it has 200+ hp-- i still havent told him it only has 140hp. hahahaha. I'm gona wait until i see him on the road.

absolutely true!!!

damn...so many times i chuckle lookin at rice.
the import scene went to shyte when the first supra wing was installed on the wrong car, and it's given us a bad rep ever since.

power to them (rice haters)...just hope they realize that we're hot rod junkies like they are and they distinguish between us import tuners and those ricers (although i am asian..)

It is true...it seems ever since I put the turbo on more and more ricers have been revvin' on me at the stop lights. Stock cars w/ loud exhausts and sticker power all over. I just blow off on them a couple times and they back off and I go about my way. The gauge thing is true too. Back in high school I knew a couple of people that had a/f ratio gauges in their cars but they weren't even hooked up correctly so the lights always danced around. I asked why...they said cuz it looks cool. When I see cars on the streets w/ gauge pods on the pillar I know more than half of them are just putting on a front like they're fast when they dont even use their gauges for anything. My neighbor has a 94 mustang gt and he's fixed it up but at least he recognizes the potential of imports.

the term ricer has nothing to do with race. The term was started by a Korean American for Pete's sake...it's about an attititude of false pretense...poser, wanna-be, pretender,....superficial, etc,

pretentiousness is something I can't stand .

Hello, Tuan. I see you! :D

BTW - I don't think Bryan Hong started the term "riceboy". It was very prevelent before he ever made his webpage. In fact, I believe that "Rice Rockets" was originally a reference to import motorcycles...

GOT RICE?

however, Brian was the one who applied it to imports and popularized the term as we know it today...

This is true, I have seen both a Comero and a Mustang with a Type R Badge.
