One should note that the B16B has the same head as the B18C5 (port and poilshed, valvetrain), although one of the cams are different.

The B16B has higher compression pistons. Other than that, they are basically the same. Oh, the 1.8 B18C5 has a longer stroke, so therefore the bigger displacement over the 1.6 of the B16B.

Differences from the UDSM civic Si motor:

Different head, valvetrain, and cams
oil pump
intake manifold
exhaust manifold
fuel pump
valve cover
and the tranny, lsd in the type-r.
