Hey all. I used to frequent here back in 97-98. I got away from the scene and went to school. Anyway, I recently bought a stock clean 99 ex with no maintenance record other than oil changes and tires. I am not sure if the replaced the timing belt or completed any of the other recommended maintenance items. What do you suggest I have done/checked? I am getting the coolant, trans fluid, and oil changed today but I want to make sure everything else is up to par as well.

thx guys.

Thanks dom will do. Is there a way that I or a mechanic can tell if my timing belt has been changed yet?
yea he can check it but more than likely they will tell you it needs to be replaced

Would this be because he knows it is labor intensive and just wants some business or because he would want to err on the side of caution?
to make money
unless you know a trustworthy mechanic
