Hi there, I recently had to change the battery in my 93' Honda Civic DX. During the battery change, I heard a few beeps and saw a few sparks, afterwards, my car will no longer start up. The engine will crank over and all, but won't fully start, everything else also works. Anyone had this problem before or could possibly know what's wrong? Someone told me it's possibly the alarm system and could be an ignition kill switch, but I've tried everything to deactivate the alarm and to no success.
in the fuse box under the hood there is a main fuse, it is about 2-3 inches long and copper colored, it will have a phillips head screw holding down both ends i think, check that and report back
i am not saying that it will for sure, but i had to do that a few times when i worked for honda, and again a month ago or so at my nissan dealer
