I'm just wondering, is it possible for the 7th gen civic to gain value as the gas prices continue to rise. gas prices have gone up about .20-.25 within 2 weeks and are supposed to continue climbing. People should start to become more conservative..... no?

Highly doubtful. There are plenty of other cars out there that can get the same or better mpg as the Civic. So unless the demand for cars that size dramatically jumps, it'll be the same.

The Accord Hybrid and Civic Hybrid can both be driven een if the battery is dead. When they arrive at my dealership the battery is completely dead. A fuse is inserted into the vehicle so it can be charged. Someone will then drive it about 4-5 mile and that charges the battery about 3/4 of the way.

Another note the Electric motor, once it has battery power, actually starts the gas motor when you turn the key. Its really wierd because there is like a 3 second delay and you dont hear anything right away, like a typical starter sound. The electric motor revs up and is in contact with the flywheel, so it revs the motor up to like 2,500RPM and then the normal motor operations take over. A question that arises from this is that what if the battery dies completely and you can't start your car? Well the Hybrids both have starters and a 12 volt battery to start the vehicle.
