i just cleared out my headlights, and the stock parking lights were nasty. I changed the bulbs to piaa extreme whites and they still have a slight orange tint. Are there any whiter bulbs or a way to solve this? thanks
you might have to go HID conversion!

Yeah, I cleared mine out this past weekend and used polarg bulbs. They are pretty good. I also have them for my headlights. Your corners probably won't look as bright as your headlights because that part of the headlight is kinda frosted, or whatever you call it. But the polargs will make a big difference.

Why feel bad myflysi? Unless you got those JDM units for free, then i feel bad for you! My friend has done many JDM Civic Type R style conversions using only paint and ingeniuty. No reflectors either. Why pay $250+ for something you can do yourself for a few dollars?

Listen, there's nothing you can do. Its just the angle your looking at the light, walk down the street 100 ft or so and they look a different color, thats what people see, not the orange tint when your close.

Besides, superwhite turnsignals will get your pulled over in any state.

And will, after time, always burn out.

SUPERWHITE LIGHTS SUCK, ANY BRAND!!! THEY GET TOO HOT AND BURN THEMSELVES OUT.

Yea, I've had the stocks with the fuzzy wavy glass and the aftermarket kind that are completely clear. Both will still be a little oranigish if you use stock bulbs. Best u can do is use the polarg.

Now I have projectors which also have completley clear turnsignals.

I just deal with the orange, no superwhites for me.

Hey drewmilladakill,

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME, BUT I STILL HAVE THE ORANGE REFLECTOR! Did you take out the orange piece (that's what you mean when you said cleared headlights right) I have PIAA XTREME WHITES all the way around and my front blinkers are orangish too. Will it help if I take out the reflector???

Some one anyone let me know if it will help taking out the reflector and cover it with chrome tape or something.

THANKS

NO, it won't help. best u can do is use the polarg bulbs.

IF you do leave that in, it makes you legal. Taking out the reflector makes your turnsignals illegal. By law they have to have an orange reflector.

But, I don't have the reflector and I never get pulled over for it.

HERE'S THE RELLY IMPORTANT QUESTION.

WHY BESO WORRIED ABOUT CHEESY SUPERWHITE BULBS AND SUCH, FORGET THAT SHIT, MAKE YOUR CAR GO FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of that superwhite/altezza lights stuff gets played out more day by day. Don't get me wrong, I think that stuff looks pretty cool too, I have altezza lights, but in hindsight, there's plenty I could have bought to make my car go fast instead of looking realling cool and being slow.

Btw, hid only works for your headlights not turnsignals.

you can make your own ctr headlights for a mere $25 dude....all you need is a gunmetal spraypaint can, reflective covering for the reflectors, and silicone! I dont know about you, but spending $500 on headlights seems outrageous to me! but to each his own...
