I own a Flamenco Black 1999 Honda Civic DX Hatchback, and plan to get the JDM Sidemarkers off of the Honda Civic Type R. Now I know the Spoon cluster, and the Honda Civic Type R cluster will be a direct swap. However I don't like either of them. :lol: So I'm thinking of getting a 1999 Honda Civic SiR cluster to replace my stock DX cluster, and was just wondering if it would also be a direct swap?

Secondly if the SiR cluster is a direct swap, I want to keep the orange dash lighting, and was also wondering if the SiR dash console would be a direct swap with the DX console?

What no one is able to tell me if this is a direct swap, or not? I'm sure someone other then myself has done this, so it should be in my opinion a direct swap. But I would just like to make sure before I shell out the cash for the SiR Gauge Cluster, and SiR Dash Console.

as far as i know they are plug and play ive seen it alot of ek hatches im almost positive

I did it with a.....

92 to 95 cluster. I also installed a 4th gen Civic. (installing SiR clusters) I don't see why it wouldn't go.
