Hey have you guys experienced a check engine light (02 sensor) problem after installing a cold air intake on a 91 manual DX ?? Never did that on my Si... The check eng always light when I`m uphill flooring in 4th-5th gear. Does the cold intake the problem ?

did you reset the ecu after you installed it?

yeah yeah and replaced the O2 sensor with the one on my B16..same problem..

I don't see how the O2 sensor has anyhting to do with the intake.
The CEL only comes on when you go uphill flooring it?
At first I thought you were referring to Air temp sensor on the intake tube, but they didn't have them in 91.

well then I dunno...This O2 sensor is brand new and since the cold intake install, BAM! O2 cel when flooring it at high speed ONLY. Yeah the ECU was reset a zillions times..What else could cause this problem ??
