I think street racing is one of the stupidest things you can do. But I have to admit there are not enough tracks to go around. I think if we saw more tracks and more tracks available especially during the weekend, we wouldnt see so much street racing. I know people wouldnt want to go spend $ to race when they can go to the streets and do it for free. But if you factor in the safety issue and the fact the cops can show up with BS tickets, it may be cheaper. Just my $0.02.

I feel ya on there not meing enough race tracks around, and the $$$$$ issue is getting rediculous.

My parents told me that down the street when I was a kid there was a old airstrip, and they would race down there at night. Now the airstrip is covered in bushes and leaves, and the Cop shop is less than a mile away. The reason they quit using it was that the neighbors complained of the noise of the big block engines, so they shut the place up tight and stoped the racing. It is less than a few blocks from the fire station too.
