i will be turning 16 soon and im deciding which car to get... i will have it before my birthday so i can work on it... i am not car stupid so don't doubt that i can do either of these setups... i need your decisions on what to get here

setup 1 is an acura integra ls
i will turbo it + upgraded interals fuel upgrades and later hondata plus tuning etc

setup 2 is 1994 civic
i will throw b16 in and from there decide n/a or turbo.

i was wondering if i could do the swap with basic hand tools + torque wrench dremell (bet i'll need that one for the swap :( ) etc etc. and does anyone know of the times i will be running on these setups? one more thing... there is a hybrid web page out there that a lot of people on this board recommend but i forgot the addres... could someone spout that address for me?

thank you for your help :D

ok i can pick up a civic (92-95) for like 5 grand and i have 5 grand left to do whatever i want with so do you think i could do a b18c gsr engine swap in that for 5 grand or a b16 with turbo for 5 grand? thanks

Hey, my personal preference is the b16a as you can tell from my SHO name. And yes, the swap can be done with hand tools and you will definately need the dremel (i had to actually cut the axles off my old motor....that was a BITCH). But yeah, me and my friend did my swap on my driveway in about a week (i had to go to school and work so thats why it took so long). Just make sure you have all the tools you will need and that you have a good work place. And if you do the b16a, make sure you do SiR2. The SiR1 is pointless to try and adapt to an EG civic and it has less power. I am LOVING my b16a. Very fast and reliable. As for turbo or NA, I am planning to stay NA with mine, I want to pay tribute to Honda's beautiful B-series motor by making it stay the way it was intended - NA!!

the SI would be nice considering the vtec wires are all there and that it would be a bolt in affair. Does anyone here know how labor intensive it would be for a 16 year old kid with a cherry picker and some tools to but in a b18c or b16 into a hatch?
