hey guys

my computer's been running a bit slow, so i check my task manager and find out that the CPU usage is at 100%

and it won't drop.. it just stays at 100%.

i turned OFF all the virus programs, etc.. but no avail

and my computer is still lagging.

do you have any idea what is causing my cpu to work that much?

check under processes to see which program is the one using up all of the cpu

a number of people had this problem a while back, it ended up being a virus or somthing I cant remember. I ended up just formatting to fix mine

formatting? no no no you just need to find what's hosing up the PC and kill it

yeah i think it was a virus... my anti-virus program just caught two extra

virus and now my cpu usage is at 2% ~ 5% :btu
