on my crx hf, the exhaust is the s-type of exhaust. i wondered how to put on a straightback aftermarket muffler like you see in summit racing catalogs.... how would that mount when the stock exhaust is curving around. thanks in advance.

Most aftermarket exhausts use proper bending and pipe diameter to make power for the given application. The ones you see in the catalog follow along the lines of the oem exhaust. To me, the best way to make your exhaust flow more (other than purchasing a complete cat-back:preferrably Tanabe RM) is to use a high flowing aftermarket muffler ie:Apex N-1 and have a muffler shop make custom pipes to make it exit the passenger side-less bends.
custom is the way to go...plus its a lot cheaper
CUSTOM IS DEFINATELY THE WAY TO GO....

KAMAKAZI LONG HEADER
NO CAT
3" PIPING
HIGH FLOW MUFFLER
DUAL 3" CHROME EXHAUST TIPS

3" FOR JRSC.... BREATHING ROOM
