Anyone with custom down pipe here? Right now I have 2.5, and I wanna increase it to 3. What are your opinions on it?

no point to go bigger than 2.25 inches.....you exhaust is only as big as the smallest part. which is your cat. I would run a 2.25 DP with a 2.25 test pipe with a 2.35 cat back exhaust on a N/A prelude.

a striahgt pipe makes tons of difference spraying or not. its gonna gain way more HP than having a cat convertor.

down pipe usually means turbo Down Pipe. If this is the case. I have a 2.5 one too. Go 3" I want one I have my 3" exhaust and cat...just need to find someone to make my DP. It will help the turbo spool faster.

I have a 3" Down Pipe to 3" Exhaust with No cat, and my 60-1 Spools up like nobodys business...It's a little tricky to fir a Blow Down Tube, and a 3" Downpipe, but it can be done...

How did you run your DP? I can't figure out how to get the 3" to fit down without putting any big bends in the pipe. Do ytou have any pictures of just the DP?
