Custom Ground Control spring rates? GC

Someone was saying the good thing about GC's is the face that you can get custom spring rates to go with your needs.

I haven't read up on spring rates and have no idea what spring rates would best suit me. But, I am just curious about this in general.

I don't ever recall seeing anything where you select the spring rates for the GC's. Is this something yo can only do if you buy straight from GC? I am most likely going to get mine off www.groupbuycenter.com , but if I must go directly through GC to get custom sleeves I will go that route.

You have to go through gc for the custom spring rates. Rates all depend on what kind of driving conditions you are doing. Mabye I can help you choose you rates. Just tell me what kind of racing you do and whether or not you plan on, or have a motor swap.

For a daily driving

I sometimes do a little street racing when there are a few cars around to race....

But, no auto x-ing or anything like that.

I probably don't even need custom spring rates

I doubt the extra money you would spend on custom spring rates would be worth it for you. It would be cheaper to get them through a groupbuy. On the street you aren't going to be using enough of the car's potential to need precise balancing, etc.
