Thanks!

No, I don't have any speakers in back. If I were to do that, I'd get the AP2 roll hoops with the integrated speakers.

BTW, I just noticed your location. :tu for a fellow Wisconsinite!! :)

Just recieved word that my parts have been on back order. They are getting started on them between mid and end of next week. That's when I was hoping to have the parts. :( But hey, you can't rush art . . . or great craftsmanship.

So, based on that, I'd say I got another three week wait before they are viewed by my own eyes. :( :(

so do they make you send in your stock dash or do they send you their version and you send them the stock one or how's that work? looks fan-fuckin-tastic btw!!!
You can do either. They have core exchange where they send you a dash reupholstered in the material of your choosing that they have available, your stitching color choice, and then you return your dash in the box your new one came in. They charge a $400 security deposit for this though. Your deposit is refunded once they get your old dash.

Or you can send in your dash and skip the $400 deposit.

OR, a third option (the one I went with) is you can have them buy you a new dash (or a used dash from someone on the forums/ebay/craigslist) and then sell your dash separately. I did it this way because I have a blue dash, and almost a full blue interior that I can sell. Since the blue is fairly rare as opposed to the black and black/red, I figured I might (MIGHT) be able to get more for all that stuff.

But something I found out with the third option is that Honda doesn't include the airbag cover for the passenger side when you buy a new dash. This is probably the most retarded thing I've ever heard Honda do- In order to buy a new airbag COVER, you have to buy a whole new airbag module for a freaking $1,500! And those who are fortunate to have spares from parts cars usually charge $200-$300 for that single flat piece of plastic and vinyl. :bash

So, with me wanting to sell my old dash complete, was in a fix because now the shop didn't have my airbag cover. I was fortunate to know someone locally who had a parts car sitting around that I've bought other interior parts from. He sold me his cover for a really good deal. :clappy

Has been delayed again.

From what I've been told, GoTuning's material supplier has been sending them the wrong stuff. So given the fact that A: it's not Alcantara, and B: it isn't sticking to the dash, they've been fighting with it for several weeks, redoing and redoing again. But they didn't realize it wasn't Alcantara until they noticed it wasn't sticking to the dash the way it should.

SOOooooOOO, apparently, last week they got the correct stuff in and it should be done for GOOD this time 'round.

It just really really really really really sucks that I've been waiting for this thing for a couple months now. I'll call them again later this week for another update. Hopefully it'll be getting shipped soon.
