it depends what kinda custom turbo you want. you can go junkyard style, w/ a turbo from an eclipse or something like that. that would probably run you around a grand.DEAD I said:

i found this for sale on a web site for 1800 is there anything else i would need. otherwise what do i need if i get like a turbo off a car in the junk yard. just the cannifold wastegate fuel pump and downpipe, or whatelse

thats just off the top of my head.. i'm sure there's more.. but that should be the main stuff right there and u can find that for pretty cheap at a junk yard
you can run the turbo w/out the intake if you just put a screen or something like that on it.. you'd be better off w/ atleast a filter somewhere though.. dont want dirt getting in there

3.a decent intercooler(starion is a nice size FMIC)
4.blow off valve...cheapest good one is a 1st gen eclipse bov
5.couple (2)oil lines with fittings
6.oil drain welded onto oil pan
7.custom piping fabricated(not that hard) 8.silicone hoses
9. fuel managemnet unit
10.hiflo fuel pump
11. ignition setup
12.boost gauge
13)vacuum lines ...for bov and boost gauge
14)some sort of check valve to fool your map sensor

what do you find that setup like? I have somthing similar planned for the summer, once the damn snow goes! I already have most of the parts.
