When installing coilovers, do the longer springs go on the front or the back? The longer ones are about 2 inches longer than the other ones. I just need to know before I install them. I'm thinking the front because it's more weight up there and it needs a bigger spring. Thanks in advance for the help.

first off what kind of coilovers do you have? secondly why did you title this post "ride with cut springs" when your actually text has nothing to do with it. instead your asking what springs go in front or rear?

if you tell us what kind of coilovers we might know since someone else on the board might have the same brand.

The springs with the thicker coils go in the front to hold the weight of the engine. its like this on all coilovers unless they are2 part springs or have helper springs. hope that helps

My ground controls had very similar springs for the front and back. They best way to tell though is to look at the part number on the spring itself.
