Anyone have a cylinder air ride system in their car? If so, how's it working out for you? Do you ever bottom out when see-sawing the front and back? Also, what did your complete setup run you? What was involved with the install? Thanks for the help

You ever find out anything?
Not yet, I did find a good website though with some high quaility products. It's www dot the-hack-shack dot com
i had air-shocks in my car running from a bottle of compressed nitrogen. It was cool, the ride was smooth but not very stiff. I wasn't confident about cornering hard or fast, and the transfer of weight while trying to launch wasn't as good as a strong suspension (by strong i mean springs, struts and things of the like). Cylinders are pretty much the same except they run off of regulated air. about $500 for all the parts for air-shocks, more for cylinders.
The whole air-suspension thing ain't so bad; not half as bad as anyone else on the board might tell you. from my own experience i can tell u that i liked it, but i just got tired of it. I wanted more confidence and strength in my suspension so that's why i went back to springs.
yes bags/cylinders own, very fun, and its nice to have when going on rocky roads or meeting speed bumps along your drive, i have no problems in my accord with em. i like em more than springs if i must say ;) i dont really need the strength in my turnin and what not cause i usually dont fly around town or race.....(at all)
hey mang check out deez bags i gots on mah civic, esse
See-sawing? This is a honda we are talking about, not a impala or monte carlo or cutlass.
Have you never seen an Integra on Air Ride before? Because I have, and it's absolutely crazy. I wouldn't say the cars you mentioned are the only ones that should be accepted to have these systems in them.
I am not saying that you shouldn't. I am just saying that someone who buys a GSR is obviously interested in performance. So why would you decrease performance by putting an air ride system in?
Point taken, I am interested in performance, that's why I did by my GS-R. Also, I enjoy showing my car, so the air ride is appealing to me for that reason. I'm trying to establish a balance between go and show, which has proven to be somewhat difficult. I'm now just starting to have to spend large amounts of money for mods because most of the little ones are done.

it can be done. Most of the winning show cars in any HIN series have bags- LJ's hatch with an H22 (i think), turbo Joe's Wagon....
