D1 GRAND PRIX-Feb 28, 2004 (SATURDAY)-Irwindale Speedway

The ONLY scheduled U.S D1 Grand Prix competition will take place on February 28th at the Irwindale Speedway


The D1 Grand Prix is now produced by D1 Productions Inc.

President: Daijiro Inada
Vice Presidents: Keiichi Tsuchiya, Takeshi Hidesato, Isao Saita, Hideo Tomitaka
Board Members: Manabu Orido and other.


D1 Productions Inc. was formulated in California for administrating U.S. D1 events and it is directly linked with the D1 corporation of Japan.

NOTE: Event details, competitor list, ticket prices, media information and schedule are being determined and will be released as soon as they are available.

Hope they don't hold it at night like last time... Feb.in Cailf. = BRRRrrrr....:eek: Usually they start in the morning in Japan and are finished by late afternoon. Maybe they'll follow that pattern this time. And hopefully no more MotoX, karts, etc.:rolleyes:

LOL! They put on a good show. I don't really like the drifting around cones as compared to the D1 shows in Japan that are held on a section of an actual track. But most drift events in the US are run like auto-x styled events so it makes sense in that regards.

too bad we don't have the GP here..

i think nobody would fly here to go see it

we have shows, but nothing of D1 caliber hehe

damn you cali folk

LOL! You still get good shows out at the Drift Session right? And Super Autobacs still has logistical kinks to work out in their supply chain...:rolleyes:

haha yeah, we do...but it's not a bunch of cool guys..

it's separated...like, signal came first, then team julius (they suck lol) and then keioffice hehe
