Now tell me if anyone has ever heard this, I've got f23a4, and went to get my APEXi VAFC (vtec controller) and apparently this is the only motor that it will not go with, am i out of luck, or is someone wrong???

APEXI VAFC only work w/ car that has ......VTEC

vafc is not worth it unless you have access to dyno... also more mods you have the better.

WRONG!! I had it on my F23A4 for a couple of years without ANY problems. APEXi may not have the exact wiring diagram on their website but it DOES work with our motors. Seeing as you're in NJ, go to IMP (www.imp-auto.com) in Clifton and they'll have it installed in less than 40 minutes. Then go to Kazteck in Hackensack to have it dyno tuned.

F23A Vtec motors are for 6th Gen.(98-02) EX and LX Accords.

DX got the weaker engine. Non Vtec
Cord v6 got J30 I believe.

No, all of the 4 cylinder 6G Accords have an F23A motor:

F23A1/F23A4 (LEV VTEC/ULEV VTEC) are in both the LX and EX models
F23A5 (Non-VTEC) is in the DX model
