Just a mock up to get an idea if I like it or not. Still debating if I would want a Benen chrome 3-point strut bar or a black one to match alot more in the engine bay. The type-r header heatshield only comes in a polished black or just black.

I'd go with the black strut bar to, would match the heat shield better, which is a bigger piece as well, along with many other parts like you said.

You could buy one of the cheap ass 3 point bars on ebay and run a fat weld along each joint, then have it PC'd.

BTW nice friggin steering wheel. Im only gonna replace mine if the SRS system fucks up, I like having an airbag to save my sorry ass if I ever get into a collision.

You're right, I guess that's a better financial decision, I guess it doesn't matter as long as it's black.
