Is the B6 worth the extra $500 or so? What is the difference between the two?

yeah, why the hell not?:p
From your profile and homepage it looks like you drive a Civic. If you do then the decision is pretty simple, 'cause the B-6 isn't made for the Civic...

Really?

Check the bottom of this page...

http://www.modacar.com/honda/frameset_coilover_honda.htm

B6 for every Civic from 89-00. $1720
Hmmm...I checked Zeal's website for the Function B-6(http://www.endlessusa.com/suspension/fb6series/fb6.html), they didn't list the Civic...they did for the B-2 though...maybe contact Zeal and/or Modacar to find out...

However, even if they do have the B-6 the B-2 might be better for you, it depends on what your goals/use will be. The B-2 is designed for street/autocross use with softer springs than the B-6 and smaller shock piston size than the B-6. The B-6 is designed more for racing...stiffer springs, bigger piston, and is lighter weight than the B-2...
you could probably get ITR rear lower control arms and run the B6's meant for them.....
I have a 88 CRX Si, and those come with JDM ITR LCA's stock :D
b6's will own you. get them....NOW!
I can get you a used set of Zeal Fuctions B6's for $900 dude. Excellent condition.
