im planning on getting a set of component speakers and rear speakers. I know the front's are 6.5 and the rear are 6x9 but does anyone know how deep they are? thanks plus if anyone can recomend a good component set that would help, i was thinking of infinity....

:sonic: <-- this one looks cool, but is there a point to it?

Hey I got a set of Rockford Fosgates Components in front (6.5) and 6 X 9 at the back, the only minor problem I faced is the fitment of the 6.5 compoments in front, seems like the space is less than 6.5 inches, but maybe it could be a problem with RF speakers? but I had nothing to worry about with the depth
i dunno what year your car is, but on my '00 ex v6 i replaced the stock rear 6x9's w/ audiobahn's and they are too deep. i had trouble getting them in and now when i open my trunk all the way they run into the bar inside my trunk lid. im not sure how deep the stock speakers are but i know my audiobahns have a way bigger magnet.

hey hey hey whaddya know....i have a 00 EX V6 sedan too...and I had no problems with my Rockfords at the back......only in front.......i guess it all depends on the manufacturer of the speakers? coz of their design and stuff........have you tried any of the 4 way speakers offered by Kenwood?
