Ok new here, but here's the deal, in the process of buying a 86 Mazda 626 lx, he said it wasn't running because the pump went bad, tested old pump and it wouldn't come on, tested voltage to pump and it's good, put in new pump, pump is not pumping fuel. What could be wrong here? inertia switch, relay, fuse? Where would these be if it could be one of them? Getting this car for my friend because it's better than the tempo she's driving now that's falling apart. I need to go back out there today to see if I can get it running and drive it home. Any help is much appreciated, and yes I did search the forums already. Thank you.

Check the ground sounds like it could be a ground problem if your getting power.
