I just got an Apexi V-AFC for my Type R..... but da setting my friend did is not very well..... he set da VTEC at 4500 rpm.. H-L at 4000rpm.... I don't know da air fuel.... be4 I put da V-AFC on.. when da VTEC kicks in... I can feel da boost very strong... after I put V-AFC, low and mid. speed is faster than be4.... but... I don't really feel da VTEC kicks in...... well.... just a little bit.... it seems kicked in at 4500rpm... then again at aroudn 5500rpm..... and after 6500 -8300rpm... I feel lose a bit of hp~~~ y is dat??
Can anyone give me some good settings to make it better???
I have air intake and muffler so far... will get pulley and header later on... Thank you guys~~~~

It would be easier to help you if I could understand more of your post, but APOCALYPSE is right. You have to properly dyno tune your car to set the VAFC properly. 4500 x-over is way too low for your R, which is why it feels weak right now. Also, with no information on AF ratio, there's no telling how your car is running based on the information you provided (unless I just didn't understand it). Only a wide band O2 sensor on a dyno will give you the information you need. Without it, it's hit or miss if you do your setup any good.
