not true the accord V6 is a DOHC!!It kind of stupit to put dohc sticker on your accord if it not one. maybe it was a V6.

Accord V6's are not DOHC. They do have 2 cams but they arent DOHC...

Most Accords are DOHC in Europe

Only the Japanese and European markets get DOHC VTEC Accords. As for the US market, there's never been a factory DOHC VTEC equipped Accord.

Though the Accord V6 has two cams, it is not considered DOHC because both cams work the intake and exhaust valves (making them SOHC). A DOHC system works where one cam is for the intake valves only and the other works the exhaust valves only.

accord type r in the european market has a DOHC engine...h22a
accord Euro R in japan has an h22a
accord SiR has f20b which is DOHC
as far as other 4 cyl accords go..
all other european market accords currently come with either 1.8 or 2.3 liter SOHC engines.
not sure about all other jdm models, but they should be 1.8-2.3 liter sohc as well....

so either the guy has an h22/h23/JDM dohc f22b/f20b.....or he is a ricer...or just stupid

FYI

Civic SiRs here in the Philippines comes in sedan.

b16a comes in 4 doors too.
