What reliability? I've owned a turbo car before and it definetly wasn't reliable. Some people may say that if you tune it and all and be careful with it, but i mean cmon seriously. If you want reliability just stick with a stock car.
HE HAD A STOCK B16, RUNNING AROUND 10-12LBS OF BOOST. HE HAD A DRAG III KIT WITH FRONT-MOUNT INTERCOOLER, TURBONETICS TURBO, HKS SUPER-SEQUENTIAL BOV, ETC. ETC. HE WAS RUNNING CONSISTENT 12.8, THEN HE OVER DID IT AND BLEW IT. HE REBUILT THE MOTOR, HIT 11.2 THEN TOOK THE CAR APART AND SOLD IT. IT'S A DAMN SHAME, BECAUSE HE DIDN'T EVEN TAKE THE CAR TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL WITH THE BUILT MOTOR(JE PISTONS, CROWER RODS, AND MUCH MUCH MORE). HE SIMPLY GAVE UP. HE WANTED TO HIT 11'S AND THE FIRST TIME HE DID, HE CALLED IT QUITS.DaFez said:00B16A2-
your friend who blew his motor.. did he have forged pistons, rods or intercooler or anything? And how much boost was he running when he blew it?
