I was told a boost controller won't work with a DragIII kit because its a "street kit" and you need to adjust it with the wastage. is this true?

I dont know who in the hell told you that, but i just have to laugh, thats the stupidest thing ive heard in awhile, why wouldnt a boost controller work on a drag kit? think about it, what do you think a boost controller does?
Yeah exactly this is a guy who owns a shop, cause I know I can use a boost controller on my moms volvo. So i thought it was odd, thats why i needed to ask some smart people.
a wastegate regulates boost. Every turbocharger has one. So, you can regulate when the wastegate should open with a boost controller. You can make your own for $5. That's what I did, and it works just great.

later,

aj :)

btw: the person that told you that shouldn't own a shop:rolleyes:
that guy must have been drunk (crazy) when he told that a boost controller wouldnt work with a drag 3 kit. A BOOST CONTROLLER WILL WORK.
that guy was definitely dumb or something saying a boost controller wouldnt work.
