since my last attempt to post ended up with my comp freezing, ill make it shorter:

got a '91 nissan sentra se-r a while back, due to inexperience and stupidity i totalled it.

just got (as in parents bought, lol) a civic dx. is it worth putting money into? if so... where first?

-or-

there is this mint condition (same color same everything) se-r that i inquired about a few months ago, the guy told me that he would call me in about a month if his daughter didnt come back from germany or something random like that. anyway that was 3-4 months ago and he never called, yet the car hasnt budged from his house. should i attempt to trade my civic for that (plus a few k since i now realize how powerful and nice that sentra was when i put the petal to the metal in my civic...even if i downshift to first...)?

ps - i dont recall being able to hit 85 in 3rd gear in the sentra... and i seem to be able to do it in the civic.... hmm....

keep the DX, im saying this cause i hate nissans, although the sylvia and skyline are great my altima was cursed and only bad shit happened to it, so unless one gets handed to me ill never drive a nissan again(im sure if it was either of the 2 id change my mind), since you have a few K to add to just trading cars just do a swap

I had a DX until I blew it with a 50 shot of NOS. I can't believe Honda makes such slow and weak engines. Keep the DX if you are going to do a swap. If not then sell it and get something faster like a prelude. DX's suck they are slow. Get a swap or sell it and get something else dude.

if you want a Nissan so bad: sell the Dx, get a 200sx, swap in a JDM SR20DET, you'll be set. Nothing like a Turbo

you do realize its a comuter car right? DXs arent exactly built for speed, and id hardly blame honda for you blowing the engine, as for getting a prelude, dont bother, they are to damn heavy for their own good, if you want to be fast do a swap

nobody is blaming honda. I now got a swap and I am running 14's yet the si is not the shit!!!, it is fast and everything yet it doesn't stop being a cheap car. get a [email protected]#!ng prelude instead. My friend still smokes me with his prelude and does 13's with it. If you can't afford it, then get a swap, which is what everyone does, spend over 3 grand for the extra ponnies, but if you sell your car and add the same cash you can get something better.
