i read somewhere that some of the Del Sol ECU's actually have the same programming as a either a Type R (whether Integra or Civic, i'm not sure) or GSR minus the knock sensor...is this true? if so, which one, the odb-I or odb-II? any help would be much appreciated. thanks!

I'm not sure about the P28, but the P30 is probably exactly the same as a GSR or a B18C5 Ecu.........minus tuned up fuel curves.

Now im no master tech, but there is no way in hell that there would be the same fuel map for 2 different motors..dunno I could be wrong..

mine which has a B16A2 has a P30 OBD1 without knock sensor and yes its the same program as the type r since its the 170hp version and it even has the type r gear box

i am not exactly sure but i think obd1, but i can ask my friend he has a del sol with a gsr. he will know.

thanks for all your help. i did a little research myself and found that the P30 does have the same programming as an ITR, but minus the knock sensor. the P28 is actually the sohc vtec. both odb-I and odb-II versions have the same programming, but the odb-II has more senors (ie-the second o2 sensor after the catalytic). again, thanks for all your help guys!
