in most cases people use a p28 and use either hondata or uberdata. depends on how much money you have to spend and what kind of tuners are near you.

aem ems is a replacement, not stand alone. for the price it is not worth it when you could do uberdata for ~ 150 bux or less. unless you have to stay obd2, or obd2b that is. check this site out for uberdata recommended ecus, download the software, and find your self a good solderer

http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/
and this site is great too
http://www.pgmfi.org/

these people sell a kit to make uberdata work on the ecus.. it has everything you need

AEM is a standalone or replacement or whatever you want to call it.

In my opinion Hondata is a god send.. You can tune your car with great accuracy as well as pass emissions.. just depends how you tune it..

not with OBD2 you can't, you have to do do an OBD2-OBD1 conversion and you fail instantly since you lose the diagnostic port to hook up to for emissions (at least that's how it is in PA) if you're in texas you can always call a guy named St00pid, i think his actual name is jason. Search for him on H o n d a - t e c h. but ur best bet would be to get an obd2-obd1 jumper, and buy a p28 w/ hondata. Or if you have the money, AEM EMS. Figuring out how to pass emissions is up to u lol
