Does resetting the ECU actually do anything dramatic? Or is it the last straw for making sure you have the max power you can get? What is the best way to do it? I have seen the page that tells you exactally how, and done it; J/W!?

it is done to clear codes and maximize performance when making changes.

look in the fuse box under the hood and pull the 7.5 (radio/ecm) for a minute.

Or

You can pull the negative side terminal on the battery for about 30 sec as well and that should do the trick. The reason why you should do this is b/c it will erase the codes from the memory so your engine light won't come on all the time. Just a thought.
