What does EG and EK stand for? What are all of the models with respect to their years/cars? What do I have (90 civic hb si D16a6)?

The letters just go up as new chassis models are made. I don't think there is meaning to them.

eg=92-95 civic
ef=88-91 civic jdm
ee=88-91 civic edm
ed=88-91 civic usdm
