modacar had the best prices that I could find on the koni's. I managed to find them at an in-state dealer for $530, but then would have had to pay taxes on it. shox.com quoted me a price of $569. They claim price matching, but they said that their sellers license or something with koni wouldn't allow them to sell them as low as modacar.

What do you guys think of the Pro Kit paired with KYB GR2's?
What's "GR2's"? I was thinking of getting KYB's later on: alot
of these "online places" seem partial to selling both as kits,
and I don't think they'd do that just to make a "fast buck".
Here's what I was thinking for the Nissan, except with "pro"-
kits: http://www.modacar.com/products/Nissan/200SX/MODASUP/

That sounds too cheap for them. I can't find them less than $140ea for my car.

If it's for real, let us know. I'd love to get them at that price.

I got my prokit from carparts.com. the site is HUGE, and sometimes hard to navigate, and they have a LOT of random domestic sh!t, but if you know what you're looking for, and it's common (i.e. Eibach Prokit), they'll have it. :)

Plus, they have an eternal 10% off coupon: enter "SAVE10" at checkout.

I got ripped, but the guy did it up right. Alot of places
will refuse your business, so make sure you have a good,
agreeable, mechanic before you buy. Alot of the "how-to's"
I've seen, though, make me believe it's an "easy job", even
for me :). The hardest part is renting/buying a spring compresser.
If you're confident in your "DIY" skills, I'd go for it.

Swapping the suspension out isn't hard at all, but it is a lot of work. I did it by myself and it took about 7hrs. You can buy a spring compressor for $40 if you cant find a rental place. Most AutoZone's rent them out.
