i think a 2 step is like an antilag system, where it keeps the turbo at full boost by retarding timing and backfiring...great if u want to race without brake boosting....nice find
you are refering to an Misfireing system that keeps turbos at full lag under deceleration.
two step is an ecu ( Aem etc ) enabled function that allows you to control your revs on a launch, its is what it says 'two step'
you push the clutch in and press the throttle down fully. the signal is sent and your ecu activates this function. you can alter where u want the revs to go to with an controller.
ps if any car is near my 240 when i start it up, i always set them off. the most at one time was about 5. two on the sides of me, two in back of me and one below me in a garage.
