It is an orange light on the dash that has a pic of an engine and it says check. This light came on yesterday in my lude so I looked in the manual and it says to check and tighten the gas cap and the light stays on for 3 trips and if it stays on longer you have to go to the dealer....so has anyone here had this senso light come on and what did you do and how long before it goes off
any suggestions............????

disconnect your battery to reset your ecu,if it still lights up then u would have to jump the fuse to find out the code
This light is called MIL or CEL, (MIL= Maufluction Indicator Light) (CEL= Check Engine Light) both are the same, its just that every body has different preference on what to call it.

Go down to your floor, on drivers side and right behind the radio/center console column, there are 2 connectors behind there on the hump, disconnect the 2 pin blue connector, and jump it with a paper clip or what will work for you, then turn the key on, count how many flashes, for example 3 long flashes and 4 rapid flashes is code 34.

So, check it out and come back and let us know what it is, and ill look it up in my service manual.

Jump the fuse?? Oh man! i hope you dont do that, jumping a fuse block is bad, could risk frying your ecu, wires, or maybe everything..:(
